We have the annual second collection for the work of the Catholic Education Service. We are all so aware of the blessings of Catholic education. Please give as generously as you are able. DAY OF EUCHARISTIC ADORATION FOR VOCATIONS ON SUNDAY This will be observed this year at St Francis’ Church. Please come along at any time from the end of the 11.15 am mass until Benediction is given at 6.00 pm. A PARISH RETREAT This will take place on Saturday 25 February in the Parish Centre, from 10am – 4pm. Subject: “The Glory of God is Men and Women Fully Human”. An interactive and reflective day exploring through Mass and Scripture, prayer and music, God’s glory in Creation. Fr Ted O’Brien MSC will give this Retreat. Bring a packed lunch; tea/coffee provided. Please see the CWL notice board in the Narthex for a list to add your name if you wish to attend. Cost for the day is £3. PARISH AGM 4 MARCH Please remember that the parish AGM will be on Sunday 4 March at 6:30 in the Parish centre. Kindly put the date in your diary as it is an important meeting for anyone interested in the running of the parish. We will be seeking nominations for a media and communications representative and social secretary. These are highly important roles for the parish council without which we would no longer exist.
